Shivakumar is suspected to be involved in tax evasion and his name has come across as DKS in a diary that was earlier seized from another Congress leader.. There was so much cash that I-T officials had to use note-counting machines to count the notes. Shivakumar is regarded as the troubleshooter in Karnataka and he has been giving refuge to the 43 Gujarat MLAs at his luxury resort in Bengaluru.
